Sebastián E. Godoy received the B.S. and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Concepción, Chile in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and The Center for High Technology Materials, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 2015. Sebastián was a fellow of The New Mexico Cancer Nanoscience and Microsystems Training Center and worked with Skinfrared, LLC in the search for a non-invasive approach for skin cancer diagnosis. He joined the University of Concepción as Assistant Professor in 2015. His current research interests are remote sensing, signal and image processing specially in the area of algorithms for recognition, classification and feature extraction.
