Lautaro Salazar (S’86) received the degree in electrical engineering from Concepcion University, Concepcion, Chile, in 1980. Since 1986 he has been working towards the Ph D. degree in electrical engineering at Concordia University, Montreal, PQ, Canada. From 1980 to 1985 he was with the Power Electronic Group in the Department of Electrical Engineering of Concepcion University, Chile.
